Information you choose to provide
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message that you submit so we can read and respond to your enquiry. The form may use an email-delivery provider acting on our behalf.
You can use the app as a guest. If you create an optional account with Google, email, or phone, we may store your account identifier, name or nickname, contact detail used for sign-in, and completed-game history so they can follow you to another phone. We do not receive your Google password.
Game and technical information
During a game, the app may process player names or nicknames, scores, turns, timelines, challenge choices, room codes, and finished-game results. Guest and same-room viewer access is designed to require only the information needed for that game.
Our hosting, authentication, and email providers may process basic device, request, security, and error logs needed to operate, protect, and improve the service. We may use essential cookies or local storage for sign-in, session continuity, preferences, and security. We do not use your information for third-party behavioural advertising.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the game, deliver and answer contact messages, remember optional accounts, restore names and finished games across phones, support same-room viewer screens, and understand how the product can be improved.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers working on our behalf, when you ask us to, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, or protect the service.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including security, support, legal, and record-keeping needs. Guest game information may be shorter-lived than account or contact information.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid putting sensitive personal information in player names, comments, or other free-text fields.
Your choices and rights
You may play as a guest and choose not to create an account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information.
To make a request, contact us from the relevant email address where possible. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
